BookiePrice provides deposit limit tools so customers can set, lower, increase or remove a limit on how much they can deposit over a selected period. Customers are offered the option to set a deposit limit at sign-up and can manage it later through account settings.
What a deposit limit does
A deposit limit caps how much you can deposit in a given period — daily, weekly or monthly. Once the cap is reached, you cannot deposit again until the period resets. Limits apply to all deposit methods combined.
How to set one
- From the menu, open Account > Deposit limits.
- Choose your period (daily, weekly, monthly).
- Enter the maximum amount you want to be able to deposit in that period.
- Confirm. Decreases take effect immediately. Increases and removals are subject to a 7-day cool-off period.
The 7-day cool-off on increases
If you raise your limit, the new limit does not apply for seven days. After seven days we will send a reminder of the original limit and ask you to re-confirm. If you do not confirm, your old limit stays in place. The cool-off period is designed to prevent impulsive changes to deposit limits.
Removing a deposit limit
Removing a deposit limit is treated as an increase and is subject to the 7-day cool-off period. We will send a confirmation email if the removal takes effect. You can set a new deposit limit at any time.
Default maximum deposit
Where you have not set a personal limit, a default operator maximum of $5,000 per transaction applies. This is an operational ceiling on single deposits and is separate from a personal deposit limit.
Loss, spend and time tools
In addition to a deposit limit, you can set:
- A session-time reminder that appears after a set period of logged-in activity.
- A 24-hour, 7-day, 30-day or 90-day take-a-break.
Proceeding without a personal limit
You can choose to proceed without setting a personal deposit limit. If you do, we may ask you to confirm that choice separately. You can set a deposit limit at any time through your account settings. We strongly recommend using deposit limits as part of responsible gambling.
