Cookie Policy
Last updated: 2026-05-22.
This Cookie Policy explains how BookiePrice Pty Ltd uses cookies and similar technologies on bookiepnice.com, what each cookie does, how long it lasts and how you can control your choices. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
What is a cookie
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device when you visit. Cookies are widely used to make websites work, to improve site performance, and to remember preferences and choices. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels and software development kits. References to "cookies" in this policy include those similar technologies where they perform a comparable function.
Cookies are classified by who sets them and how long they last. A first-party cookie is set by the site you are visiting, in this case bookiepnice.com. A third-party cookie is set by a different domain, for example an analytics or advertising provider. A session cookie is deleted when you close your browser, while a persistent cookie remains for a stated period.
Categories of cookies we use
We group the cookies we use into the following categories:
- Strictly necessary cookies — required for the Service to operate, including session management, security, load balancing and recording your cookie-consent choices. These cookies cannot be turned off through our consent banner because the Service cannot operate without them.
- Functional cookies — used to remember choices you make, such as language preference or the last-viewed sport. These cookies are not used to track you across other sites.
- Analytics cookies — used to measure aggregated traffic and understand how visitors use the Service. We do not build personal profiles from analytics cookies. Analytics cookies remain off unless you opt in via the cookie banner.
- Marketing cookies — used for advertising measurement and conversion tracking, including through third-party advertising platforms where we run paid campaigns and where permitted by law. Marketing cookies remain off unless you opt in via the cookie banner.
Cookies currently set on this site
The table below lists the first-party cookies our build currently sets. We will update this table when cookies are added, removed or changed.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Category | Expiry |
|---|---|---|---|---|
bp_consent |
bookiepnice.com (first-party) | Stores your cookie-consent state so the banner does not reappear unnecessarily. | Strictly necessary | 12 months |
PHPSESSID |
bookiepnice.com (first-party) | Session identifier used to operate your bet slip and authenticated session. | Strictly necessary | Session |
bp_csrf |
bookiepnice.com (first-party) | Cross-site request forgery (CSRF) protection token for form submissions. | Strictly necessary | Session |
bp_route |
bookiepnice.com (first-party) | Remembers your last-viewed sport preference so the relevant tab is shown on return. | Strictly necessary | 30 days |
No analytics or marketing cookies are set on this site at the time of this policy update. If we add an analytics or marketing cookie, it will be listed in the table above and will remain off unless you opt in through the cookie banner.
How to control cookies
You can manage your cookie choices at any time:
- Open Cookie preferences at the foot of any page to review and change your consent state for analytics and marketing cookies.
- Use your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Most browsers let you block third-party cookies and clear cookies on exit. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the Service from working.
- Reset your consent state by clearing the
bp_consentcookie in your browser. The banner will reappear and you can choose again.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We respect Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where the browser sends them. When GPC is detected, analytics and marketing cookies remain off until you explicitly opt in. We do not respond to "Do Not Track" headers because there is no agreed industry standard for that signal. GPC is the more reliable mechanism for expressing a do-not-sell or do-not-share preference.
Cookies and personal information
Some cookies may contain or be combined with information that is, or could become, personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Where that is the case, our handling of that information is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You can make a privacy request, including a request to access or correct personal information, by emailing privacy@bookiepnice.com.
Changes
When we add or remove a category, this page is updated and (for material changes) the banner re-appears so you can re-confirm your choices. The "Last updated" date at the top of this policy will be revised whenever the policy changes. If a change is material, we will also place an in-product notice on first visit after the change takes effect.
